Both Modern & Traditional in One Great First Wedding Anniversary Gift!

First wedding anniversaries are special! Bonnie shares how her husband managed to cover both traditional and modern anniversary symbols for the 1st anniversaries.



My husband really hit a home run this year with his anniversary gift - he managed to give me a gift that covered both the traditional AND modern gift ideas on the anniversary gift lists! He gave me a gift certificate (paper) for a really cool rainbow sundial (clock) that he found online.

The sundial sits in the window sill and makes great rainbow colors in the room whenever the sun shines, and since he gave me a gift certificate I got to pick which window in our home to put it in. The little sundial was made just for me and has a date line on it for our anniversary which the time shadow rides on our special day each year. He's going to have a really hard time beating this gift next year!
